What's Wrong With My Gutter?
Most gutter faults are one of six: a drip at a joint, overflowing in rain, a sagging run, a leaking downpipe, storm damage, or old cast iron rusting through. Tap the one that looks like yours below and the finder gives the likely cause, the fix and our Dublin price.
Four taps, no number needed to see the answer.
Free, no obligation. One local company prices it, not five.
Find the fault, see the price
Four taps: the photo that looks like your gutter, the house, the material and the area. You see the likely cause, the fix and our price. Your number is only asked for at the end, if you want one gutter repair company that covers your part of Dublin to ring you.
Read your gutter in the rain
The best time to find a gutter fault is during heavy rain, from the ground, with a coat on.
- Water falling in a thin stream from one spot: a joint or an outlet.
- A sheet of water over the front edge: a blockage, or the gutter has lost its fall.
- Water behind the gutter, running down the wall: the gutter has pulled away from the fascia, or the felt doesn't reach into it.
- A wet patch on the wall by the downpipe: a cracked pipe or a joint pushed apart, often hidden behind the pipe.
- Nothing out of the downpipe at all: the outlet or the pipe is blocked.

Questions people ask
Can I tell what's wrong from the ground?
Usually, in the rain. Where the water comes out tells you most of it: a thin stream is a joint, a sheet is a blockage or the fall.
Is the price in the finder a quote?
No. It's our Dublin price guide for that repair. The company confirms the price after a look or a photo, before any work.
What if it's more than one fault?
Pick the worst one and say the rest in the details box. One visit for all of it costs less.
